Let’s face it, we live in an anxious culture.  The combination of overstimulation from every direction, coupled with the pressure to be as efficient as possible, have produced a culture of increasingly nervous individuals.  We can’t relax.  And it’s taking its toll on our mental health.  It doesn’t help that our society rewards this type of behavior (who out there isn’t being constantly encouraged to exceed last month’s numbers, or squeeze just one more project into an already packed schedule?)
