Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a strong advocate of mindfulness.  I believe that the world would be a better place if all of us mastered the practice of mindfulness in our thoughts, words, and actions.  I believe this because I have seen it firsthand in my mindfulness training seminars.  When an individual or a team actively reflects on their own thoughts, words, and actions, and examines the effects they are having, it’s a breakthrough.

Perhaps it’s been awhile since you re-examined your own thoughts and actions.  Are you practicing some toxic behaviors?  Read Kathy Caprino’s article, “6 Toxic Behaviors That Push People Away: How To Recognize Them In Yourself And Change Them” for some excellent things to watch for.
