Black alarm clock sitting on a beachWhile summer isn’t yet officially here, it sure is starting to feel as though it is. I’ve noticed an added excitement in the air, which I’m assuming is a result of hope. Thanks to the COVID-19 vaccine, I sense a new level of hope … people are planning summer vacations once again, safely reconnecting, and rediscovering what it feels like to be social.

Personally, I have a few excursions and a retreat planned (we have only two spots left if you are interested!) and even the act of planning them has filled me with excitement and anticipation. What about you? I hope you’ve got something in the works, whether it’s a substantial trip far away, special days off throughout the next few months, or at minimum, an abundance of self-care practices

For a little inspiration, I’m sharing some of my favorite quotes having to do with vacation, taking breaks and the importance of self-care. I hope you enjoy them, and please consider sharing your summer plans in the comments below!
