Within each of us lie the strength, confidence and ability for Greatness. Sometimes all it takes is that extra push.

When I started my business about four years ago, I honestly did not have a clue about what I was doing. I created Relevate because I knew businesses needed some help with administrative tasks and marketing. I found joy being their behind-the-scenes person making those important tasks actually get accomplished – bringing a

sense of relief and sometimes giddiness to my clients.

My business has completely evolved since then – and continues to evolve into my true vision. One thing I learned early on as a business owner is if you are not moving forward, you are actually falling behind. I don’t want to be status quo, and having a business coach pushes me to be more. How you might ask? Well, here are three examples of why I have a coach:

1. Brainstorming: Two minds, or even three or four or five in group coaching situations, are better than one when it comes to ideas for growing your business. So many great ideas have come from my fellow coaching participants – even the name and tag line for my business!

2. Accountability: I can have all the ideas in the world that would turn my business into my vision, but without someone holding my feet to the fire when things get busy or tough, there were plenty of times I probably would have just quit and been status quo.

3. Inspiration: Working alongside a coach and others in our group coaching sessions, I have found such inspiration from listening to their lessons learned and successes. I feel blessed to know I have inspired some people to go the extra mile and make a bigger difference in their lives. The true inspiration has made me a better person in all aspects of my life.

For the past four years, I have grown my business from being an idea in my mind to a profitable marketing company. I owe much of my success to the coaching process I have been blessed to have.
