Can work actually be, dare I say, fun? I believe the answer is yes!

I’ve written a couple of times about the concept of work-life balance, and why it is quickly metamorphosing into something that looks more like work-life integration. In this rapidly-changing business world, the definition of “work” is open to interpretation. Both  at the individual and at the organizational level, we need to rethink what “work” actually means to us. Can I work and vacation on the beach? Can I work and enjoy a high quality of life? Or can work actually be, dare I say, fun?

I believe the answer to all these questions is yes! I believe we can structure our organizations so that each and every team member meets his or her potential, and I believe that team bonding is an essential part of this process. Anyone who has ever been on any of my adventure retreats will tell you that great things happen when team members leave the office environment and get to know one another on a personal level.
